Tip: DIY Travel Size Lotions

We all have our favorite brand of lotion, unfortunately, not all brands have travel-size bottles. Well, don’t worry, if you can’t find a smaller version of your favorite cream, we have a solution.

You can actually buy refillable bottle containers where you can store products such as lotion, perfume, toothpaste, sanitizers, and more. We listed some of them so check them out.

These travel containers can fit in pouches and small bags. They are a space saver and help organize your luggage.

Choose the Right Lotion for You

It’s easy to grab a random lotion brand in the store. But the question is, can that lotion heal your dry skin? Is it safe for your sensitive skin? Is the fragrance okay for you? Can you afford to buy it again? These are just some of the things you need to consider when buying a lotion not just for traveling but for daily use also.

The first thing you should do is identify your skin type. Do you have dry skin or normal skin? Do you experience irritation or not? There are a lot of lotions out there that cater to different skin types, but finding a good one is the problem. After that, you can then identify what type you want. Do you prefer something that smells like flowers or do you prefer unscented creams, it’s pretty much a personal opinion.

You can then weigh in the price and the product amount. Do the amount and price sound logical to you? Is the product amount good enough or do you need a bit more? Make sure to choose the ones that you can afford and pick the right amount that you can consume. Otherwise, both your money and the product will be wasted.

When it comes to container size, it is pretty much a personal choice. You can a big bottle of lotion and just transfer some to a small container during your trips. Or you can conveniently buy separate small bottles for each trip. You can do whatever you prefer.
